The Monterey Car Week Reality

What is colloquially called "Pebble Beach week" is in fact a tightly scheduled week of distinct events at venues spread across thirty miles of California coastline. The Quail (Carmel), Concorso Italiano (Black Horse Golf Course), the Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance (17-Mile Drive), and the Sunday Concours itself (Pebble Beach Golf Links). Each event has its own access protocol, its own preferred arrival window, and its own parking constraints.

The FFGR Pebble Beach Package

FFGR provides a four-day to seven-day dedicated package for Pebble Beach week. A single chauffeur is assigned for the duration, with the Rolls-Royce Cullinan or Bentley Bentayga (preferred for the canyon roads and unpaved estate access points) and a backup Phantom or Flying Spur for the Sunday Concours arrival itself. The chauffeur receives a detailed event schedule the week before and pre-positions the vehicle at each venue.

Specific Event Coordination

• The Quail (Carmel) — Friday morning. Limited valet, controlled access. FFGR pre-credentials our vehicle with The Quail security team.
• Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance — Thursday morning, 17-Mile Drive. We position the chauffeur vehicle at the conclusion point for guest transfer.
• Concours d'Elegance Sunday — The arrival point at Pebble Beach Golf Links is the photographic centerpiece of the weekend. We coordinate with the Concours team for the appropriate arrival timing slot.
• Russo and Steele, Bonhams, Gooding auctions — Multi-venue evening transfers throughout the week.

Accommodation Coordination

For clients staying at The Lodge at Pebble Beach, The Inn at Spanish Bay, or Casa Palmero, FFGR coordinates with the concierge teams for vehicle staging at each property. For clients staying off-resort (Carmel Mission Ranch, L'Auberge Carmel), we manage the daily transfer plan accordingly.

Booking Window

Pebble Beach week (mid-August) requires booking by early June for guaranteed allocation. Standing arrangement is available for repeat clients who attend the Concours annually.
