Palm Beach — the barrier island between Lake Worth Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean — hosts a permanent population of under 10,000 and a seasonal population that includes some of the most significant family offices, philanthropic foundations, and private wealth concentrations in the United States. Worth Avenue, the island's primary retail corridor, runs four blocks and accommodates Hermès, Chanel, Cartier, and their equivalents. The Breakers Palm Beach remains the island's defining hotel. Palm Beach International Airport Transfers
Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) sits 3.5 miles west of the island, separated by the Intracoastal Waterway and reached via the Royal Park Bridge or Southern Boulevard. For private aviation arrivals, the island has no commercial access — private jet principals use PBI's FBOs or Lantana Airport to the south. FFGR USA monitors all arrivals at PBI, Lantana, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International for principals traveling to Palm Beach from either direction. Your Rolls-Royce Phantom or Ghost is in position at the FBO door when wheels-down is confirmed.
The Breakers and Private Residence Arrivals
The Breakers Palm Beach has a defined arrival protocol on South County Road that our chauffeurs execute without instruction — vehicle door positioning relative to the hotel's entrance awning, luggage coordination with the bellstand, and departure readiness calibrated to the fifteen-minute lead time the hotel recommends. For private residences on the island's north or south ends, FFGR USA maintains approach route files for each engagement that account for the single-road nature of the island's north and south shore drives.
The Season Calendar
The Palm Beach season runs events that FFGR USA schedules around annually: the International Polo Club Palm Beach season at Wellington (January through April), the Surf & Sand Festival, the Four Arts Speaker Series, and the charity gala circuit that reaches its apex in February and March. Season packages — dedicated chauffeur, Tuesday through Sunday, from November through April — begin at $18,000 per month.
